What the application already contains

BlueHawk is a follow-up application for boat owners. The modules below exist in the current version. The product is not on sale, and some functions are still in development.

Cockpit

The boat’s entry point: identity, alert summary, access to position and preparation of a trip.

Safety on board

Register of safety gear, on board or in the bag. From conforming life jackets and life raft, the application indicates an equipment capacity for coastal and semi-offshore navigation. This is not a regulatory certification.

Documents

Boat and skipper file: insurance, licence, ANFR licence, RIPAM and other papers, with their deadlines.

Log

Deadlines for gear and documents, so what is coming due stays visible.

Trip

Start and end of a passage, then the history of trips: departure, arrival and levels. This log is not the mapped track of positions.

Boat health

Defects ranked by impact: to be settled before sailing, to be settled soon, or at lay-up. Resolved defects stay in the history.

Boat map

Last position, timestamp and, when the unit’s history is available, a track over 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days. Consultation happens in the application. This is not continuous tracking. The watch zone appears only when monitoring is active. Its centre is the arming position.

Boat file

Boat identity and followed levels: fuel, water, engine hours, battery.
